DVDs

“Amour” (PG-13): Retired music teachers Georges (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and Anne (Emmanuelle Riva) face the end of life in this drama from Austrian filmmaker Michael Haneke that was nominated for five Academy Awards.

Elsewhere, a teenage girl is transported into a fantastical realm, deep in the heart of a forest, in “Epic” (PG), an animated 3-D tale featuring the voices of Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz and Beyonce Knowles. And Ashley Tisdale, Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan and Mike Tyson star in “Scary Movie V” (PG-13).

Topping today’s TV transfers: “NCIS: The Complete 10th Season,” “NCIS: Los Angeles — The Fourth Season,” “Boardwalk Empire: The Complete Third Season,” “The Good Wife: The Fourth Season,” “Revenge: The Complete Second Season,” “Parenthood: Season Four,” “Mike & Molly: The Complete Third Season” and “Being Human: Season Five.”

CDs

Jimmy Buffett, “Songs from St. Somewhere”: Seriously, why does Jimmy Buffett keep releasing records?

The dude sells out arenas instantly with party-hard fans who want to hear nothing but the old favorites.

Guess they need a cue for that bathroom break, though, right?
