VNV Nation casting shadows at Aruba
March 16, 2012 - 1:02 am
For years now, the goth scene has been defined by beats more than bats in the belfry.
Electro-industrial duo VNV Nation has played a prominent role in all this, as they've been moving black-clad butts on the dance floor for almost two decades now.
Although their aesthetics may be on the shadowy side, VNV Nation's repertoire is decidedly upbeat, spiking synth pop effervescence with urgent, hard-candy beats and a dogged, galvanized social awareness.
Power to the people!
And keyboards!
