Volbeat mixes rockabilly, metal
Sexually charged, hip-swivelin' rockabilly and obnoxiously loud, perpetually defiant heavy metal were both initially seen as scandalous forms of music, so it only makes sense that a band would merge the two. Enter Volbeat, who come with tunes concussive enough to land them opening slots for Metallica, and yet they still swing like Elvis' pelvis.
