ZZ Top playing outdoor show at Sunset Station

Hopefully the weather has cooled down enough for sharp-dressed men to throw down some synchronized moves outdoors, though ZZ Top has never been a group that would admit to breaking a sweat.

The same three guys -- Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard -- have stayed together to ply their Texas blues boogie since 1969, and they've been working with producer Rick Ruben on a new album due next year.

In the meantime, the trio is likely to cover everything from the dirt track days ("La Grange") to MTV superstardom ("Legs") at 8 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of Sunset Station, 1301 W. Sunset Road. Tickets are $65.40-$147.35; call 800-745-3000.
