New players club comes to Slots a Fun, Circus Circus

Circus Circus and Slots A Fun have a new players club separate from the MGM Mirage Players Club found at related properties. The Circus Players Club gives members one point for every $5 coin-in on slots or $10 coin-in on video poker, video blackjack or video keno. Every 200 points can be redeemed for $5 cashback or $10 free play. (Our advice always is to go for the free play.) Players earning 5,000 points during 2007 will receive an extra $50 in free play. In addition to points, members also earn comp dollars that remain in their account for at least 12 months. Everyone signing up for the card prior to Nov. 30 will be entered into a $5,000 grand prize drawing.

On Saturday, Ellis Island players can win a "Maid for a Day" to give their home a good one-time cleaning. And on Sept. 29, they also can win a weekly house cleaning for an entire month. Passport Players Club members earn entries by swiping their card once a day and with selected jackpots (see the booth for exact details). Winners must be present at the 10 p.m. drawings to win.

At part of the campaign to kick off the new multi-property Wild Card players club, Barley's, Gold Rush, Greens, Magic Star, Wildfire and Wild Wild West are running several promotions including double points on all video reels, "Bar Bingo" (hit all 13 four-of-a-kinds and win $300) and special $1,000 drawings during Friday Night Football.

In conjunction with the 2007 Las Vegas Bikefest, the Golden Nugget is giving away a motorcycle on Sept. 29. From Thursday through Sept. 29, players can earn entries playing slot and table games. The winner must be present at the drawing to win (check at the booth for the exact time) and has a choice of a 2008 Softail Deluxe, a 2008 Road King or a 2008 Fat Boy.
