Water Street Grill has grand opening specials

The Water Street Grill, 203 Water St. in Henderson, is celebrating its grand opening with $5 off the bill with two entrees on Tuesdays, $20 all-you-can-eat ribs on Wednesdays and a free appetizer with two dinner entrees on Thursdays. The grill also offers special to-go packages for live concerts in downtown Henderson or on Third Thursdays. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays and 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 5 to 9 p.m. Saturdays. Roy's Island Hop Dinner -- which celebrates the Hawaiian islands' culinary traditions -- is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Roy's two valley locations, 620 E. Flamingo Road and 8701 W. Actress known for roles in ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Downton Abbey,’ dies

Maggie Smith, the actor who won an Oscar for “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” in 1969 and gained new fans in the 21st century as the dowager Countess of Grantham in “Downton Abbey” and Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter films, died Friday.
