Adults can have a devil of a good time

Tricks are for kids. But treats, at least during Halloween in Las Vegas, are equally available to adults.

Halloween is the one weekend it's OK -- in fact, it's encouraged -- to hit the clubs as the junkie, criminal or hooker you berate your neighbors for being all 364 other days each year.

The bravest will shimmy their Spandex to the 15th annual Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball to gawk at erotic stage performances from Rubberdoll, Vau de Vire Society -- and at one another -- Saturday night at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel.

But other Halloween parties and costume contests scream just as blood-curdlingly loud for your admission. At the Palms on Saturday night, notably, all four nightclubs are throwing Night of the Killer Costumes featuring prizes totaling $100,000. And the Beaux Arts Ball -- Sunday night at Studio 54 -- gathers cast members from the various Strip production shows for performances and costume contests.

If partying with celebrities is your thing (or, at least, partying while watching them party in roped-off sections you can't enter), there's the Marilyn Manson-hosted monster mash at Aria's Haze, Audrina Patridge's party at The Bank at Bellagio, and the Second Annual Hollyween with Holly Madison at Studio 54.

Perhaps the scariest monster of all has a party on Saturday, too: Snooki from MTV's "The Jersey Shore" hosts Nightmare in Jersey II at The Mirage.

If your favorite local haunt isn't listed below, call it. There's probably some jack-o'-lantern and Coke party thing happening there, too.

Look, if you stay home, you're only going to have to answer your doorbell every 10 minutes, empty your snack drawer and pretend never to have seen devil or angel costumes before.
