Allen turns comedic attention to Vegas

It would take years to make a new "Toy Story," and Tim Allen's next sitcom project is still in development. So for now, Las Vegas has his full comedic attention.
"I forgot I had that skill," Allen said of his stand-up last summer, before his current series of appearances at The Venetian were locked in for this year. "It's like you're training people at a racetrack and realize you still know how to drive a race car really good.
"I want to go in and be live again and resurrect that feeling again. It's kind of a selfish thing, I guess."
Parents should know his live set is a little more graphic than his Disney work, if they want to get a sitter for Allen's shows at 9 p.m. today and Saturday at 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Tickets are $55.75-$95.75, or $145.75 with a meet-and-greet; call 414-9000.
