Gottfried performing at Hilton
The self-effacing Gilbert Gottfried doesn't waste energy arguing with those who accuse him of doing the same old material over and over.
But c'mon. There's only one guy with that voice and that face, so where else are you going to go if you want to hear the Elephant Man singing "Feelings," Groucho Marx in his dotage, or Dr. Zaius from "Planet of the Apes" in consultation with Katharine Hepburn?
And don't think he will forget about Bela Lugosi when he plays the Las Vegas Hilton's Shimmer Cabaret, 3000 Paradise Road, today through Sunday and Wednesday through Nov. 20. Tickets are $35 at the door; call 732-5755.
