Six Picks: Our experts pick their favorites for the week

'Le Reve' deal

"Le Reve" has done 3,000 shows? That's a lot of towels. The Wynn Las Vegas aquacade started off as a poor stepsister of "O" but eventually came into its own. This month, Nevada residents can buy one seat in the $129 bracket and get the second for $30. Call 770-9966 with the promo code "3,000."

Jessie Payo

What do the Black Eyed Peas and Etta James have in common? Maybe only Jessie Payo, who's opened for both. The singer/songwriter/actress is a little lady with a big voice, one unbounded by genre. See her at 10:30 p.m. today and Saturday at Book & Stage at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The shows are free; call 698-7000.

'Tinker Tailor'

They do make 'em like they used to, at least when it comes to hush-hush espionage thrillers. "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," based on John le Carre's thriller, takes us back to the Cold War era, as involuntarily retired spy George Smiley (an Oscar-caliber Gary Oldman) returns to top-secret action to ferret out a Soviet mole in the upper echelons of British intelligence.

'Living the Dream'

He had a dream. They're "Living the Dream." Celebrating the life of Martin Luther King Jr., members of the Trinity Dance Academy and the Las Vegas Youth Council will team for a free performance at 3 p.m. Sunday at the West Las Vegas Library. Academy choreographer Monica Armstrong will direct the tribute that features traditional and urban contemporary gospel music. Call 507-3989.

Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris performs at Encore nightclubs this weekend -- Saturday at Surrender, then Monday at XS. You know the Scottish DJ-producer for his hits "We Found Love" with Rihanna, "Awooga," and "Bounce" featuring Kelis (the music video was shot at Surrender). He's rad.
