Steve Connolly back with Christmas-themed Elvis show

Elvis impersonators became a virtual religion, giving us Fat Elvis, Female Elvis and Kid Elvis.

But Steve Connolly might have been Self-Aware Elvis.

During the years he sustained a Las Vegas show, Connolly maintained "I don't think I'm Elvis. I'm not nuts," and pointed out that painting was his real passion.

His Elvis shows threw in offbeat covers, such as The Offspring's "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)" as well as his own songwriting.

Now, he's back for one night at least, with a Christmas-themed Elvis show Saturday at the M Resort.
