Strip Tips: Celebrate Mexican Independence Day

In honor of Mexican Independence Day on Sunday, Senor Frog's in Treasure Island is offering a weekend-long fiesta. Today through Sunday, Mariachi bands will be playing live music. For the first time, ever, Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat in The Mirage is offering an annual pass for visitors. Adults are $49.99 and children 4 to 12 years old are $37.50. Commitment ceremony

This fall, the Flamingo and Imperial Palace will offer some new options for gay and lesbian commitment ceremonies. Prices range from $349 for a basic ceremony to $3,000 for one with all the bells and whistles. Couples will be able to work with a wedding planner to coordinate a ceremony at any of five different chapels across both properties. The price includes floral arrangements; aisle decorations; dinner for two or a couples massage; an hour with a photographer; a video recording of the ceremony; champagne; a two-night hotel stay; and more. Beer special

Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer will host weekly "Bones and Beers" specials to celebrate the return of football. Every Thursday through Monday, guests who visit the Excalibur restaurant can choose from a variety of specials, including $5 shots of Patron tequila; $15 pitchers of Coors Light or Lynyrd Skynyrd Lager; and a pitcher of beer with a plate of chicken wings for $22. The restaurant is also giving away a package that includes airfare and two tickets to the 2013 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans on Jan. 2. With every pitcher of Coors Light or Lynyrd Skynyrd Lager purchased, guests will receive one ticket to enter the drawing.
