99 Words About … NBC’s early look at ‘Go On’
August 2, 2012 - 1:04 am
NBC terrified critics last week with plans to move away from shows like "Community" to attract a broader audience.
The troubled network will get that with Matthew Perry's "Go On," but mostly because it's sneak previewing directly after the Olympics on Wednesday.
Otherwise, it's pretty much "Community" - disparate, multi-generational group of underachievers thrust together - with less-appealing supporting characters.

But while some of its humor is broad, its appeal likely is anything but.
After all, what's more universally hilarious than the grieving process?
