2017 is the year of Cadence

With eagerly anticipated retail and infrastructure developments, as well as new and enhanced events, 2017 will be an exciting year in Henderson’s soon-to-be-2,200-acre Cadence community.

Smith’s Marketplace will break ground across from the Home Finding Center early in the year and is expected to open in late 2017. In addition to the grocery offerings of other Smith’s Food &Drug Stores, Smith’s Marketplace includes household goods and apparel.

Also in 2017, Cadence will become host to one of the valley’s first locations of Kneaders Bakery &Cafe, as well as a Starbucks, dry cleaner, bank branch and veterinarian.

Lovers of the great outdoors have reason to rejoice, too, with several parks slated to open next year. The adventure park will include playgrounds for children of all ages, including a rock wall and rope course. Cadence also will open neighborhood dog parks and a pickleball court.

Open to the public, the second annual DeCadence Food Festival will showcase popular Henderson eateries and introduce locals to new favorites. The 2016 event was a spectacular success with its delicious bites created by a dozen restaurants, from Lake Las Vegas to Green Valley. Guests enjoyed beautiful weather in Cadence’s Central Park and live entertainment from popular local band Street Folk.

Cadence residents also will enjoy access to Cadence’s community pool and splash pad, as well as regular wine and canvas nights, and movies under the stars. Upon completion, the greater Cadence community will span 2,200 acres and feature 13,250 homes. Currently, 30 model homes from builders Woodside Homes, CalAtlantic Homes, Richmond American Homes and active adult community Heritage by Lennar are available for prospective homebuyers to tour.

Full details on the current and forthcoming homes from Cadence’s builders may be accessed at the Cadence Home Finding Center, located just off of Lake Mead Parkway at Sunset Road.

The Home Finding Center is the perfect starting point for a Cadence home search, offering an interactive and approachable journey deep into all of the various home options Cadence has to offer.

Cadence is situated minutes from the Galleria at Sunset mall, The District at Green Valley Ranch, Cowabunga Bay Water Park, St. Rose Dominican Hospitals and several retail centers and restaurants.
