Adventurers discover Spanish Palms

Ryan Hargrave has always believed in following his heart. Recently, his heart led him to Spanish Palms, the guard-gated condominium community at 5250 S. Rainbow Blvd., where he purchased his dream home.

Originally from San Francisco, Hargrave is a bona fide adventurer, who, in 2002, moved to Cape Town, South Africa, where he lived for over a decade. But when he decided it was time to move back to the United States to be closer to his dad, he researched cities nationwide, seeking affordability, unrivaled entertainment and dining offerings and quality of life.

“The Bay Area acclimated me to some of the highest costs of living in the country, so it’s no surprise I sought out cities that could free me from high rent and mortgage rates,” Hargrave said. “Together with my partner, Eric, whom I met earlier this year in South Africa, we chose Las Vegas as the optimal city for our lifestyle. After renting for a short while, we were drawn to Spanish Palms for many reasons, including its no-maintenance lifestyle, central location and abundant amenities. Spanish Palms opened my eyes to amenities I didn’t even know I wanted.

“It’s rare to find a condominium community that features attached two-car garages, so that was a major plus for us,” Hargrave said. “We are impressed by the upgraded appliances, spacious floor plans, and resident amenities including state-of-the-art fitness center and a pool with a waterfall. Living in a 24-hour, guard-gated community is an added bonus which gives us the ability to lock-and-leave when we travel.”

Ultimately, Hargrave selected a three-bedroom floor plan that offers ample space, high ceilings and an attached two-car garage. In fact, the home is so spacious, Hargrave’s father is moving in with the couple next month.

“My father is going to absolutely love it here, and he’ll enjoy his own bedroom and bathroom,” Hargrave said. “The location of Spanish Palms makes it so easy for us to enjoy the dining and entertainment on the Strip. Everything we need is right at our fingertips, from grocery stores to first-class shopping. Spanish Palms truly is the perfect package, and we couldn’t be happier.”

Spanish Palms offers three floor plans ranging between 744 square feet and more than 1,131 square feet, and with homes starting from $138,900. Spanish Palms’ signature amenities include Central Park, an expanded fitness center, business center and conference room inside the clubhouse.
