Central Park centerpiece of Spanish Palms

Central Park is the centerpiece for residents at Spanish Palms, a lushly landscaped, 24/7 guard-gated condominium community on South Rainbow Boulevard across the street from Spanish Trail Country Club in the heart of the city.

According to lead designers Wayne Salom and Bret Nielsen, both with award-winning landscape architecture firm J.W. Zunino, the 16,000-square-foot park was redesigned to accommodate a more active and modern lifestyle, complete with a dog agility course, putting green, an updated play structure for children and shade spots and a cabana ideal for outdoor parties and socializing.

"Our goal with this new and improved Central Park was to give residents more options and encourage greater usage of the park with both improved aesthetics and functionality," Salom said. "It's gratifying to see Spanish Palms residents — and their four-legged friends — enjoying this new park that serves as an extension of their own backyard. Originally built in 1997, Spanish Palms boasts mature landscaping that has been preserved in places and updated in others to create an inviting and modern outdoor space."

Spacious floor plans, a growing array of amenities, expanded financing options including Veterans Administration home financing, and a central location all combine to contribute to the remarkable success of Spanish Palms, where 80 condominiums were sold over the last seven months.

Homes at Spanish Palms offer open floor plans, large walk-in closets, private balconies and granite kitchen countertops. Spanish Palms' private one- and two- car garages are particularly appreciated by residents given that attached garages don't typically come standard with condo living.

In addition to Central Park, signature amenities include an expanded fitness center, business center and conference room inside the clubhouse. The guard-gated community boasts a round-the-clock attendant; two resort-style pools — one with a heated spa, the other with a cascading waterfall; poolside grills; clubhouse with full kitchen and dining area; and easy access to the 215 Beltway, Interstate 15, McCarran International Airport and the Strip.

Uri Vaknin, a partner at KRE Capital LLC, whose company, in partnership with Dune Real Estate Partners, purchased Spanish Palms in 2013 as DK Las Vegas, said, "Spanish Palms remains an especially exceptional buy, particularly given its location and rich amenity offerings. It's no wonder that sales at Spanish Palms have been through the roof. It's a great time to buy in Las Vegas."

Spanish Palms offers three floor plans ranging between 744 square feet and more than 1,100 square feet with homes starting from $128,900. For more information on Spanish Palms, visit the sales center at 5250 S. Rainbow Blvd, No. 1055, open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
