Century Communities’ gated Parkview neighborhood offers amenities

Century Communities’ newest Southern Nevada neighborhood, Parkview in southwest Las Vegas, is quickly developing a reputation for providing the amenities of master plan living without the associated costs. The gated Parkview offers its own amenities and is directly across the street from Wayne Tanaka Elementary School and the 26-acre Red Ridge Park.

“Parkview is an ideal community for those who enjoy being active and outdoors,” said Hadley Goddard, sales manager for Century Communities. “It was designed to be very family-oriented and child friendly.” Parkview residents enjoy exclusive access to their own community pool, park, playground and outdoor basketball court.

“The neighborhood amenities alone cover 25,000 square feet, so residents have lots of space to play and enjoy themselves,” Goddard said. “This design is perfect for families with young children who want to play outside but not go far from home.”

Goddard said Parkview’s location directly across the street from Red Ridge Park provides expanded outdoor amenities. “Red Ridge Park is a beautiful park with amenities including two Little League baseball fields, picnic pavilions, a splash pad, two separate enclosed playgrounds, two swing sets and a disc golf course.” The park also includes a lighted basketball court and is surrounded by a mile of walking trails. “It is a perfect place to get some exercise and spend time with your family,” she said.

Parkview is near city parks, dining and shopping.

“This type of community in this price range is very rare,” she said. “Most new-home neighborhoods with their own amenities are priced significantly higher, and have monthly homeowners association fees similar to master plan communities. At Parkview, you get a brand new home from one of the country’s top builders … and access to lots of great amenities.”

Parkview offers both single- and two-story homes ranging from 1,603 to 2,643 square feet with prices starting in the mid-$200,000s. Six model homes are now open in three series: Zion, Yosemite and Acadia.

All of Parkview’s homes include standard features normally shown as upgrades in other developments. Century Communities’ standard features include maple kitchen cabinetry, granite kitchen countertops, gourmet cooking islands and stainless-steel appliances in the kitchen and paver driveways and walkways.

Parkview’s eight available floor plans include the Zion 1917. This two-story home offers 1,917 square feet of living space with as many as four bedrooms, up to three baths and a two-car garage. The open kitchen includes a walk-in pantry, gourmet cooking island and dining nook. A first-floor den can be built as a fourth bedroom with a full bath. Upstairs, the owner’s suite includes a walk-in closet nearly the size of a secondary bedroom and an option for a luxury shower. An upstairs loft can be used for entertainment and games.

“The eight plans we are offering at Parkview are some of our most popular floor plans in Southern Nevada,” Goddard said.

Parkview’s sales office and model homes are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The sales office is at 6861 Black Ash St. in Las Vegas. To visit, take the South 215 Beltway to Sunset Road and head west on Sunset Road. Turn left on Quarterhorse Lane and left on West Maule Avenue to the community.
