Century Communities opens northwest neighborhood

Century Communities is springing up with new neighborhoods. On March 19, the builder will open its new Meadow Ridge collection in northwest Las Vegas near Horse Drive and North Jones Boulevard. This gated neighborhood will include 76 single- and two-story homes. The grand opening will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to the public and will include light refreshments, model home tours and prize drawings.

“Our homebuyers are interested in larger homes on larger sites, and we are giving them both at Meadow Ridge,” said Hadley Goddard, sales manager for Century Communities. “The average home site here is 60-feet-by-135-feet. The backyards, at an average of 40 to 50 feet deep, are perfect for pools, play areas, outdoor gardens and putting greens.”

Meadow Ridge will offer five floor plans ranging from 2,173 to 4,092 square feet. Three homes will be shown as models: one single-story and two two-story designs.

“Meadow Ridge 2493 was recently unveiled at our new community, The Estates at Rhodes Ranch,” Goddard said. “It is perfect for those who enjoy the single-story designs but want a little more space. It includes three bedrooms, 2½ baths, great room, dining room, spacious kitchen with oversized gourmet cooking island and covered patio.”

This home’s three-car garage can be built as an additional bedroom suite, den or multigenerational casita.

“Meadow Ridge will showcase two of its two-story plans as model homes,” Goddard said. “At 3,889 and 4,092 square feet, these homes are very spacious. The 4092 plan is especially elegant. Upon entering the home via a formal foyer, guests are immediately drawn to the home’s entertaining spaces: a large great room and formal dining room. The openkitchen is centeredby a large gourmet cooking island and overlooks a dining nook. The front of the home includes a downstairs bedroom suite and third-car garage that can be built as an optional multigenerational casita or home office.”

Every home at Meadow Ridge will include granite kitchen countertops, 42-inch maple wood cabinetry with crown molding, 10-foot ceilings on the main level, multislide glass walls and covered patios for a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience, paver driveways and walkways and stainless-steel appliances. Homes will also feature 17-incy-by-17-inch tile in kitchens, entry and wet areas.

“The kitchens at Meadow Ridge will be popular among culinary enthusiasts,” Goddard said. “Stainless-steel appliances are included, and homeowners will enjoy a 36-inch, five-burner cooktop with a designer hood, microwave, dishwasher and wall oven. Complemented with oversized gourmet cooking islands and granite countertops, these kitchens will be a focal point for every party and family gathering.”

Goddard said the owner’s suites should be popular.

“They are very much a respite from the world,” she said. “Each owner’s suite includes spacious bedrooms, walk-in closets with ample storage space, 6-foot, drop-in tubs and separate showers. And with our single-story homes, the owner’s suites can be built with private entrances to the rear patio.”

Meadow Ridge is one of two new Century Communities neighborhoods springing up in March. The builder’s Parkview neighborhood in southwest Las Vegas is putting the finishing touches on its model homes.

“Parkview is a collection of all our latest floor plans,” Goddard said. “It is gated and will have its own community pool, park, playground and outdoor basketball court.”

“Century Communities has beautiful new-home neighborhoods available in all areas of Southern Nevada, from Henderson to the northwest,” Goddard said.

With the exception of Cambria, all Century Communities sales offices and model homes are open Tuesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday noon to 5 p.m. Cambria is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For more information, visit www.centurycommunities.com/nevada.
