Family Fun Festival at Providence on April 1

Families take center stage with a special night at the Family Fun Festival at Knickerbocker Park in Providence. The free event is planned for April 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. and is tailored for families, including friends and neighbors, to create memories enjoying activities and the great outdoor amenities the park offers.
Complementing Providence’s small town American ambiance, the Family Fun Festival will include an obstacle course, bungee run, inflatable basketball hoops, inflatable football, parachute games, sack races, water balloons, and a hula hoop and dance contest with the DJ. Providence’s lovable mascot P.D., the Providence Dog, will be in attendance. A variety of food trucks will be selling treats, including 50 Shades of Green, Curbside Café, Frozen Frog, Oming’s Kitchen, Oso Ono Shave Ice, Sausagefest, The Cookie Bar and World’s Best Corn Dogs.
In addition, some of Providence’s community partners and neighboring businesses will hand out goodies for the kids and provide information.
Knickerbocker Park is at 10695 W. Dorrell Lane in northwest Las Vegas. The park’s design and location provides spectacular views of the entire Las Vegas Valley and amenities include tot lots for 2- to 5-year-olds and 5- to 12-year-olds, swing set, dog park with small and large dog areas, splash pad, youth baseball field, multiuse events field, jogging path with exercise station and picnic areas.
