Harmony Homes offers discount on earnest-money deposits

Harmony Homes announced earnest-money deposits in each of its four Southern Nevada communities is now reduced to $500 from the typical $3,000 to $6,000. Also, the builder is eliminating deposit requirements for options and upgrades for the first $5,000. The builder typically requires deposits of 50 percent to 100 percent of option and upgrade costs.

To take advantage of the opportunity, the builder is asking homebuyers to use its preferred lender. This program will be in effect through 5 p.m. Dec. 31.

“Recently, many of our new homebuyers have been in the entry-level market, working hard to live the American dream,” said Robb Beville, Harmony Homes president. “We understand that our buyers are qualified but may have limited down payment funds or option-deposit funds. So we wanted to implement a program to allow these qualified buyers the opportunity to not only purchase a Harmony Home but also select the options and upgrades they desire to customize and make this home their own.”

Harmony Homes has a multitude of beautiful homes in some of the most convenient areas of the Las Vegas Valley. All incorporate elegant touches of luxury at a great value, Beville added.

Malibu is the latest expansion of the popular Vista Cielo community in North Las Vegas, near Ann Road and Lawrence Street. Here, Harmony Homes reveals new designs and floor plans ranging from 1,924 square feet to 2,369 square feet, with prices starting in the low $200,000s.

“The options in this neighborhood are truly buyer-inspired,” Beville said. “The largest Malibu plan, for example, comes standard with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, but homebuyers can opt for up to six bedrooms and four baths instead of its signature Super Loft.”

Pearlite is a cozy community near East Russell Road and Palm Street in Las Vegas with just a few homes remaining for sale. Floor plans range from 2,545 to 2,973 square feet and start in the low $300,000s.

These homes are centrally located near the popular Whitney Ranch and Stephanie Lynn Craig Park. The 2,545-square-foot plan has three bedrooms with a fourth bedroom option and features a large, open great room, a flexible “Nevada room” and generous dining room. Pearlite also features a popular single-story floor plan with a three-car garage, three bedrooms with an optional fourth bedroom and a total of 2,735 square feet.

Then there’s the Daybreak community at Sunrise Highlands. Daybreak offers stylish designs in a highly sought-after location.

Tucked along the foothills of Sunrise Mountain, near the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, Daybreak is right in the heart of some of the best outdoor amenities the Las Vegas Valley has to offer, including the Royal Links and Stallion Mountain golf clubs, Hollywood Regional Park, the Clark County Wetlands Park and Sunrise Trailhead, which links to the River Mountains Trail Loop.

The homes at Daybreak range from 1,739 to 2,275 square feet and start in the low $200,000s. All three floor plans are two-story designs and come with versatile options, such as lofts and courtyards. The floor plan featuring 1,836 square feet was designed with a spacious courtyard at the front, which Beville said gives it a fun indoor-outdoor living element. This floor plan also offers an optional fourth bedroom downstairs.

Also near the base of Sunrise Mountain, Talus provides homes with a variety of options for each of its four floor plans, which range from 1,801 to 3,024 square feet. Prices start in the $230,000s.

At Talus, the 2,573-square-foot model features an optional master retreat that extends the master bedroom with a space that can be used as a sitting room, TV room or as its name suggests — a retreat. The 2,799-square-foot model at Talus comes with the option of a downstairs fourth bedroom in lieu of a den.

Harmony Homes was included in the 2013 Builder 100 , which recognizes the nation’s best-selling homebuilders. The builder has sold more than 2,100 homes since it was formed in Southern Nevada in late 2008. It offers four neighborhoods throughout Southern Nevada, with one- and two-story homes priced from the low $200,000s and ranging from 1,801 to more than 3,000 square feet.
