Inspirada cultivates partnership with fresh52 Farmers Market

Inspirada, a Henderson master-planned community, is growing more than new residents. Starting today, a new collaboration with fresh52 will bring farmers and artisan markets to Aventura Park.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, the inaugural event will feature more than a dozen local vendors offering a wide selection of delicious treats from savory meats, to locally grown produce and delectable sweets to satisfy any craving. Children will enjoy family-friendly activities such as face painting while active lifestyle enthusiasts can participate in outdoor yoga classes led by Lifetime Fitness.

“We are finally enjoying much cooler temperatures and there is no better time than now to host an outdoor event like a Farmers Market,” said Deanna Konrad, Inspirada community manager. “We are confident that today’s event will attract many residents, as well as those who live in neighboring communities, to Aventura Park where they will find freshly harvested fruit and seasonal vegetables. We invite everyone across the valley to join us next month for another Farmers Market and to explore our lush parks and outdoor amenities while they are here.”

The partnership between Inspirada and fresh52 includes a three-part Farmers Market series, with the next two events scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 12 and again Dec. 3. Participating vendors include Frankly Good Coffee, Kings Sausage, Malle Farms, Red Rock Sweets and Success Valley Farms.

Through collaborative efforts with Henderson Parks and Recreation, neighboring communities, businesses and sporting organizations have accessed Inspirada’s system of public parks, providing the perfect setting for gatherings and community events. Inspirada last month hosted the first Southern Nevada St. Jude Walk, drawing more than 700 participants for a scenic 5K walk/run, live entertainment and other family-friendly activities. Henderson’s system of parks has been recognized as the best in the nation, earning the 2014 Gold Medal Award from the National Recreation and Park Association.

Aside from community events, Inspirada residents often are seen walking with their four-legged friends, pushing toddlers in strollers and riding bicycles. Families enjoy the convenience of multiple trails, connected neighborhoods and new infrastructure such as separated sidewalks, benches and seating and shaded areas. In addition to its 85-acre system of parks, trails and open spaces, Inspirada is the gateway to Sloan Canyon National Recreation Area that includes more than 1,700 petroglyphs.

Inspirada is made up of five builders, including Beazer Homes, Century Communities, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Toll Brothers. There are more than 66 model homes ready to tour in 17 new Inspirada neighborhoods featuring one-, two- and three-story single-family homes and townhomes designed for every lifestyle and ranging in price from the high $100,000s to $500,000s.

With a projected build-out of 8,500 homes, Inspirada is home to more than 2,500 residents who have access to programs and activities managed by a full-time staff that creates social calendars to bring neighbors together in the parks and the Inspirada Community Center.
