One Las Vegas offers VA-backed home loans for veteran residents

Stunning views, spacious floor plans and an impressive collection of amenities are among the many selling points at One Las Vegas, the twin-tower, high-rise condominium community on the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard. And those features are coupled with expanded mortgage financing options, including Veterans Affairs-backed home loans.

According to the first-ever 2016 Veterans & Active Military Home Buyers and Sellers Profile conducted by the National Association of Realtors, seven of 10 active-duty service persons and five in 10 veterans use VA loans to finance home purchases. The program, which caters to active and retired military personnel, may require no down payment to purchase a home.

“We are proud to make home ownership a reality for our veteran buyers who sometimes weren’t previously in a position to finance a mortgage,” said Stephanie Reese, director of sales at One Las Vegas. “It means a lot to offer military families a safe and beautiful place to call home. Now veterans can lock in their dream home at One Las Vegas without the stress that can come with financing a home, allowing them to comfortably ease into their new lives as a new homeowner.”

When retired military couple David and Consuelo Kickbush moved into One Las Vegas this year, they fell in love with more than just the two-bedroom residence they now call home. They were immediately enamored with its lifestyle, which features, full-service concierge, exclusive resident activities and recreational offerings such as a state-of-the-art fitness center, tennis court and 24-hour resort style pool.

“We know there aren’t many communities in Las Vegas that provide VA financing, so we jumped at the chance to make One Las Vegas our home,” David said. “We actually visited the community nearly a decade ago, but weren’t ready to purchase at the time. When we learned One Las Vegas had recently refreshed all its amenities and expanded its financing options, we jumped at the chance to own one of these beautiful high-rise homes with views of the Strip and the valley. We love our new life at One Las Vegas and haven’t looked back.”

Homes at One Las Vegas range from 831 to 2,857 square feet, with many floor plans offering views of the mountains and the Strip. One-bedroom homes are priced from the low $200,000s; two-bedroom homes from the high $200,000s; and three-bedroom homes from the low $400,000s. The penthouse, offering 3,000 square feet of views, is priced at $1.1 million. One Las Vegas is VA home loan approved and offers mortgages with as little as 10 percent down.

One Las Vegas is close to I-15, the 215 Beltway and just minutes from McCarran International Airport. Town Square, a few blocks north of the property, provides one-stop shopping and scores of dining and entertainment options right in the neighborhood.

For more information, visit the One Las Vegas on-site sales center at 8255 S. Las Vegas Blvd., or online at theonelv.com or call 702-405-9020. The sales center is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
