Pardee makes the mark with teachers

Teachers Wendell and Kendra Kelley have given Pardee Homes a "10 out of 10 score" for the way they treat homebuyers. The Kelleys and their children Khloe and Kobe recently moved into the Pardee Solano neighborhood in the Inspirada, a master-planned community in Henderson.
"Buying a Pardee Home is a great experience," Kendra said. "Even though we are already in our home, Pardee is still involved. They have walked us through everything from A to Z. We give Pardee a 10 out of 10 score."
"We feel so well taken care of with Pardee," Wendell said. "They even came over to change the air filters in the ceiling. When do you get that kind of service?"
Kendra, a teacher at nearby Del Webb Middle School, is also impressed with their new home's design, a Solano Residence Two with an open, spacious layout that includes a bedroom and bath on the first floor that is a convenience for their visiting parents.
Wendell, a recreation specialist for a state-licensed preschool, is drawn to the outdoor lifestyle offered by Inspirada's parks. Their home is close to the city of Henderson's new Aventura Park that opened in May.
"We are both teachers and working with children is our passion," Kendra said. "Inspirada is a great place for our kids to meet other kids. You feel a real sense of community here."
Solano at Inspirada is a collection of two-story homes that range from 2,187 to 2,433 square feet with prices starting from $293,450.
The Residence One at Solano measures 2,187 square feet with three bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, den, loft, walk-in pantry and two-car garage. Optional features include a covered patio/outdoor room and optional fourth bedroom and third bath.
Solano Residence Two measures 2,267 square feet with four bedrooms and a loft, three baths and two-car garage. Buyers can choose office, loft or retreat options.
Solano Residence Three measures 2,433 square feet with four bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, living and dining rooms and two-car garage. An optional loft can be built instead of a fourth bedroom.
According to Pardee Homes Division President Klif Andrews, Solano's floor plans offer flexibility for buyer customization, including optional covered patio or outdoor room with glider, office, loft or retreat options instead of bedrooms or expanding to five bedrooms.
All new Pardee neighborhoods in Southern Nevada feature the builder's LivingSmart program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes.
