Pulte holds grand opening in southwest valley

Pulte Homes announced the opening of an all new gated community in southwestern Las Vegas, beginning with a model park grand opening event on July 18. Home prices at Mateo, on the corner of Warm Springs and Cimarron roads, begin in the mid-$200,000.

"€Since presales began, we've seen tremendous interest from homebuyers in our Life Tested features, Energy Advantage program and in our quality of construction," said Andy Lee, director of sales for Pulte Homes'€™ Las Vegas Division. "€œPulte commits a great deal of resources to researching what today'€™s buyers value in a new home, and we’ve answered with the types of spaces and specific features they desire."

Pulte’s Life Tested features include Everyday Entry benches, with drop zones for things like backpacks, shoes and outerwear, while washers and dryers are relocated to dedicated laundry spaces.

Additionally, oversized pantries mean more room for bulk groceries and easy access to items used every day, while open "€œgathering areas"€ create more usable space where homeowners spend the most time.

Pulte's rigorous construction methods are designed to ensure that each home will be built with precision and delivered as promised. And Pulte Homes’ ongoing commitment to industry leading energy efficiency and homeowner comfort is reflected throughout its building processes, from the products used to third-party certifications. All Pulte homes offer a limited 10-year structural warranty and five-year protection against leaks.

The new Mateo community boasts several energy-saving features, including tankless water heaters, 15 SEER air-conditioning systems, highly insulating blown-in cellulose and cathedralized conditioned attics.

Additionally, jump ducts and transfer grills are included to help balance air pressure between rooms, helping to maintain an even temperature throughout the house. In fact, all of Pulte’s new-home communities in Las Vegas share a unique distinction: Pulte Homes has been named 2015 Energy Star Partner of the Year by the Energy Protection Agency three years running, as 100 percent of Pulte’s homes are Energy Star-certified.

Potential homebuyers can choose from five different one- and two-story plans, ranging from 1,838 to 2,776 square feet and offering as many as six bedrooms and 4½ baths, as well as two- to three-car garages. Among the many popular features are large backyards, extra storage areas and Energy Star-rated appliances. Each plan offers a variety of optional configurations, including additional bedrooms instead of dens, loft spaces, flex rooms and covered patios.

Mateo is at 8130 Diggy Ave. and has quick access to the 215 Beltway. The community is just one block from the St. Rose Dominican Medical Center, and is close to the Arroyo Market Center with dozens of retail and dining options, Red Ridge Family Park, and Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. Mateo will be open daily, 10 am to 6 pm. For more information, visit Pulte.com, or call 866-301-6053.
