Southern Highlands opens new neighborhood

New opportunities abound for families to “dock” in Southern Highlands, as premier homebuilders Pulte and Woodside Homes present 13 model homes at The Cove, the newest addition to the Southern Highlands master-planned community on the south side of town, just west of Interstate 15 at St. Rose and Southern Highlands parkways.

With homes priced from the $370,000s to $700,000s, The Cove is a gated community that will include five family-friendly neighborhoods and approximately 400 one- and two-story single-family homes ranging from 2,020 to 4,610 square feet. Floor plan designs offer as many as six bedrooms and six full baths and come standard with a variety of options and features.

“Whatever it is your family needs and desires in a new home, you’ll find it at The Cove. Pulte and Woodside have developed a wide variety of models to delight any homebuyer, and the location in Southern Highlands couldn’t be better,” says Garry Goett, chief economic officer of Olympia Cos., master developer of Southern Highlands.

“We invite families to come see these exquisite homes for themselves, as well as explore everything Southern Highlands has to offer, from top schools and beautiful parks to its prime location off the Interstate 15.”

Residents of The Cove will enjoy amenities including a trail system ideal for walking, biking and hiking, and their own private community pool opening in summer 2017.

Families can also take advantage of local activities and events, such as the largest annual Memorial Day Celebration in Southern Nevada at Stonewater Park. Although residents of The Cove will enjoy a quiet, family-friendly haven, they are a short jaunt from key Las Vegas hotspots, including The District, Town Square and the Strip. Southern Highlands is also a 10-minute commute from McCarran International Airport.

“From a family-friendly perspective, Southern Highlands is perfect, but there’s a practicality to living here that makes it ideal, too,” resident Sue Natole says. “As an example, Southern Highlands residents find themselves going ‘against the grain’ of rush hour traffic, which is a commuter’s dream.”

To visit models, drive south on Southern Highlands Parkway past St. Rose Parkway. Model parks will be on your right and left. For more information, call The Cove’s sales office at 866-530-3309.
