Summerglen homeowner keeps it in the Pardee Homes family

New homeowner Mariya Federchenko’s has a long history with longtime valley homebuilder Pardee Homes.

The UNLV alumnus who works in risk management for a local utility grew up in a Pardee home in Henderson, a home that was across the street from Pardee’s Vice President of Construction Operations Rocky Cochran.

“As a child, I became friends with the Cochrans and their daughter and we would walk to school together and do our homework after school at their house,” Federchenko said.

Cochran remembers her well.

“I’ve known Mariya since she was in junior high and I’m proud of her and her accomplishments,” Cochran said. “She’s a great millennial success story and representative of a new generation of homebuyers that Pardee has been gearing for.”

As she grew up, she also became friends with another neighbor family, that of Pardee division president, Klif Andrews and often babysat the Andrews’ sons.

“I knew that when I was able to buy a home it would be a Pardee Home,” Federchenko said. “I never considered anything else.”

Federchenko chose a Plan One at Pardee’s Summerglen neighborhood, off Sunset Road just west of Fort Apache Road in the southwest valley.

Summerglen is a collection of two-story homes ranging from 2,311 to 2,402 square feet of living space with up to five bedrooms and patio covers offered as standard. Prices start from $295,400.

Summerglen Plan One measures 2,311 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, loft or optional fifth bedroom while Plan Two measures 2,385 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, loft or optional retreat or optional fifth bedroom.

Summerglen Plan Three measures 2,402 square feet with four bedrooms, 2½ baths and optional loft instead of the fourth bedroom.

Summerglen’s location enjoys convenient access to the 215 Beltway via Sunset Road and is near established retail, dining, professional and medical services, including Southern Hills Hospital, and is near top-rated public and private schools, Wet ’n’ Wild Water Park and Clark County’s 8.1-acre Wilbur and Theresa Faiss Park.
