Summit Homes adds four Las Vegas neighborhoods

When a homebuilder is focused on what matters most to their customers, the result is a reputation of bringing the right homes to the right areas at the right price.

“Summit Homes is opening four new Las Vegas communities in the next few months, which is extremely exciting for us,” states Nathan White, Nevada Division manager for Summit Homes.

“Over time, we’ve watched the demand for our homes continue to rise, and we believe it’s because we concentrate on developing great designs with features that really work for today’s families.

We place those homes in the neighborhoods where people really want to live, then we make them truly affordable. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.”

The first new neighborhood of these four is Montclaire in Providence, a master-planned community in the northwest valley. A grand opening is slated for June 11 and 12. This represents Summit’s re-entry into Providence. Last year, the builder sold a trio of neighborhoods in Northern Terrace within the community.

“We’re proud to have been contributors to the huge success of Providence, which has consistently been ranked among the Top 15 master-planned communities in the country,” White said. “In fact, during 2015, nearly 30 percent of all the new homes purchased at Providence were built by Summit Homes — with our three neighborhoods of Emery, Westcott and Claremont completely selling out in just over a year. That’s an impressive record, and some might think it’s a tough act to follow,” adds White with a smile. “But it’s already obvious that Montclaire is turning heads and gathering new fans.”

Montclaire features three two-story homes that are available in Providence for the first time. They range in square footage from 2,621 to 3,190 square feet, and can include up to six bedrooms, three baths, and a three-car garage. Grand opening prices at Montclaire start in the $290,000s.

Also coming soon to the northwest Las Vegas valley from Summit Homes are three neighborhoods consisting of larger homes and providing a variety of move-up opportunities for buyers. All three communities are scheduled to open in either December 2016 or January 2017.

The first of the new arrivals is Tee Pee and Dorrell on Tee Pee Lane north of Deer Springs. It will offer homes from 2,800 to 3,800 square feet with pricing from the low $300,000s. Models are anticipated to begin construction in September.

Second is Grand Canyon and Alexander at 9704 West Alexander Road, west of North Grand Canyon Drive. These homes will range from 3,046 to 3,800 square feet on one-third-acre lots, and are priced from the high $450,000s. Models are set to start in August or September.

Third and offering even larger floor plans will be the homes at Teco and Duneville, off Sunset Road between Jones and Decatur boulevards. Floor plans here will reach from 3,046 to 4,571 square feet on 20,000 square foot lots, with pricing also starting from the high $450,000s. Models are scheduled to begin construction in July or August.

Other Summit Las Vegas neighborhoods are:

In the southwest side of town is Willow Ridge, which includes pool-sized lots and is priced from the high $200,000s. Also in the southwest is Canyon View, a collection of two-story homes – some including downstairs bedrooms, which is releasing its final phases of pool-sized homesites. Canyon View is priced from the mid-$200,000s.

In the northwest is Shadow Pointe, a boutique neighborhood that is nearing final phase release and is priced to sell from the mid-$260,000s.

And in the southeast part of town – adjacent to Silverado Ranch – is Hazelwood, which is in final close-out with only two homes remaining.

Worth noting is that this local, family-owned builder employs a unique strategy in the planning and building of its communities. As noted by Nathan White, “We know not everyone has the same time frame to work with when buying a home. That’s why at almost any point in time, buyers who need to close escrow now, or in 30, 60, or 90 days, will find they have that capability at our communities. So whether it’s a quick move-in or a build-to- suit home, we’re proud to be able to provide that flexibility to our customers”

Summit often has buyer incentives and special financing opportunities available at times in their communities.
