Summit opens Shadow Pointe, Hazelwood

Summit Homes has opened two neighborhoods — Shadow Pointe in the northwest and Hazelwood in Silverado Ranch in the southeast.

"Although the floor plans are different and unique to each neighborhood, they are both limited edition collections that offer a distinctive lifestyle," Nathan White, Nevada division manager for Summit Homes. "Providing perhaps the only 'new-home' opportunities in extremely popular and developed areas, they are boutique communities consisting of only 22 and 36 homesites, respectively."

"Further, buyers are delighted to discover they can purchase a quality new home with updated energy-saving and construction features at a price competitive to existing homes in the area. Plus, the designs are fresh, new and updated — and include standard features that are considered upgrades at other communities. So when you combine all these traits together, it's easy to understand their appeal."

At Shadow Point, three two-story homes are available from 2,182 to 2,621 square feet, priced from the $260,000s to the low $300,000s. Offering from three to four bedrooms and as many as three baths, these designs include generous living spaces that feature open great rooms, kitchens with super-islands, upstairs lofts and master suites.

Less than 10 minutes from Downtown Summerlin and centrally located between three area hospitals, Shadow Point provides easy freeway access throughout the valley. Another appealing feature: Wide streets with sidewalks on both sides, including pavers on the drives and walkways to each home. This village-like environment invites leisurely walks enhanced by differing street elevations and a variety of exterior finishes for each home.

Hazelwood is found across the valley in the south — a collection of three two-story designs ranging in size from 1,907 to 2,043 square feet. Priced from the mid-$240,000s to the $260,000s, buyers can select from floor plans that offer three to four bedrooms, plus a loft, paver walks and driveways, great rooms with kitchen and dining areas, and included granite countertops.

Situated within Silverado Ranch master-plan, Hazelwood is close to shopping centers, parks, schools, and hospitals with convenient I-215 Beltway and Interstate 15 access. The neighborhood also includes a community entry.

Down payment assistance financing and $0 closing costs opportunities are available at Shadow Pointe and Hazelwood. Additionally, a selection of plans at both neighborhoods are under construction and will be available for December and January move-ins, White said.

To visit Shadow Point, take the I-215 to Cheyenne Drive, then exit and head east about half a mile to Shadow Pointe on the left. Sales representatives can be contacted at 702-800-9645. For Hazelwood, take the 215 Beltway to Windmill Lane, then exit and head west, and turn left on Maryland Parkway; then turn right on Gary Ave. and follow the signs, or call 702-937-0513 for more information.
