Three new stories to open in Downtown Summerlin

Widely regarded for its abundant parks, trails, golf courses and thoughtful design, Summerlin has long set the standard in quality living for Southern Nevada. The opening of Downtown Summerlin to huge fanfare in 2014 further distinguished the master-planned community as the only one in Southern Nevada with its own downtown. This 106-acre retail, dining and entertainment destination has become the area’s most popular gathering spot for valley residents.

This summer, Downtown Summerlin adds three first-to-market brands to its robust retail and dining lineup. Fabletics, the activewear brand co-founded by Kate Hudson, opened July 30; Casa Del Matador, bringing a unique twist on traditional Mexican fare, opened Aug. 4; and Nevada’s first Dave &Buster’s, the ultimate entertainment mecca, will debut Aug. 8.

Guests can find the new Fabletics store in a 1,800-square-foot space near Dillard’s, across from Express at Downtown Summerlin. Customers can shop the latest Fabletics collections and exclusive prints and styles for performance, lifestyle, dress and swim.

The store provides an elevated experience for shoppers, with amenities including mobile points of sale, free shipping from warehouses for out-of-stock items, in-store fitting appointments, the option to buy online and pick-up in store, as well as a virtual shopping cart to help customers complete their shopping online after their in-store visit. The Fabletics location will also carry FL2, its new line of men’s high-performance athletic gear and premium lifestyle.

Casa Del Matador brings an unparalleled dining and social experience to Downtown Summerlin. Enjoy hand-crafted margaritas and fresh Mexican cuisine in the candle-lit glow of the restaurants artfully vibrant décor. Traditional favorites like street tacos, tortas and burritos will be available with new picks like Ancho Chile Wings, sautéed chipotle mushrooms and seasonal dishes like cucumber jicama salad.

Enjoy lunch and dinner daily, Sunday brunch, happy hour and late-night offerings, and Top Shelf Tequila Tuesdays. Located near the Dining Arroyo on Park Centre Drive.

With its massive footprint in the neighborhood, Dave &Buster’s is known for its chef-crafted food, beverages and dynamic entertainment offerings. The location boasts an impressive 30,000 square feet. It offers more than 140 of the latest and grest video games, delicious food, innovative drinks and ultimate sports viewing at D&B Sports, where patrons can watch any sporting event on massive HDTVs and enjoy a “better than stadium seating” experience. Dave &Buster’s is off Parke Centre Drive near Regal Cinemas.

“These additions are already generating a huge buzz in the city and are expected to put an exclamation point on the destination’s already strong lineup of hot spots,” said Danielle Bisterfeldt, vice president of marketing, Summerlin.

Homes in Summerlin are available in a variety of styles — from single-family homes to townhomes and condominiums — priced from the $300,000s.
