7 Las Vegas experiences to gift this holiday season

With the holiday season rapidly approaching, if you haven't started already, it will soon be time to start planning your Hanukkah or Christmas gift lists. You an always gift someone a light bulb from the actual Welcome to Las Vegas sign, but why stop there when you could gift them with a true Las Vegas experience that could leave them with memories to last a lifetime.

Breaking away from the traditional gifts of candles or Christmas sweaters, here are seven Las Vegas experiences you can gift this holiday season:

Grooming service (and not for the dog)
A unique experience to give as a present is an indulgent grooming service. For $55, you can gift someone the "Royal Shave" from the Art of Shaving. Unlike a typical spa that is geared towards women, the Art of Shaving's Master Barbers maintain a "masculine" — and "luxurious" — environment. Touted as "the ultimate indulgence," the gift experience, which includes a four-step process they say helps achieve the "perfect shave," will leave your giftee "well-groomed and relaxed."

Allow someone to relax as snow flurries fall on them (yes, in the desert)
Arguably one of the most unique and unusual experiences you can have in a Las Vegas spa, the Qua Spa at Caesars Palace allows guests to relax under falling snow.

Located in the "Arctic Ice Room," the room features heated floors and benches that allow you to unwind as falling snow "relieves your stresses." Known as their "Roman Rituals," you can gift someone a day-pass to experience this room, as well as the spa's three Roman baths and steam room. If you really want to up the ante, you can gift a massage or any other spa service and your guest will automatically have access to these amenities

Feel — and look — like a celebrity
With New Years Eve right after the holidays, why not gift an S.O. with a salon experience to get them all dolled up to ring in the new year? Known for being the go-to hairstylist for some of Hollywood's biggest names, COLOR Salon by Michael Boychuck offers guests "star quality treatment" with their vast array of services ranging from hair and makeup all the way to waxing and nails. As your guest gets their hair done underneath glistening chandeliers, while sipping champagne, they might leave with a memory as beautiful as they look.

Play golf like the pros
Finding the perfect present for a golf aficionado can be tough, but it can be done. For many golfers, a visit to the Taylormade Kingdom is on their "golf bucket list." They've made that dream a reality by introducing their on-site custom fitting facility, The Flight Deck. By gifting someone with a customized club fitting package, your guest gets to experience the exact process used to match their favorite tour professionals with the perfect set of clubs, "tailor made" specifically to them. In their state-of-the-art facility, certified club fitters work one-on-one with your guest to analyze aspects of their game. Based on the specifications determined by the club fitter, your guest can then have a complete custom set of golf clubs constructed for them on sight.

Have a staycation in a snow covered cabin
Along with the Mt. Charleston Lodge, the resort also offers guests a chance to stay in private cabins. Depending on who exactly you are gifting this to, there are a few different options as to what type of cabin you chose to book. From a pet friendly cabin to a "Love Birds" cabin, the stay allows your guest to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax in the tranquil environment of Mt. Charleston.

Dinner — with a view — and a show
After all the cooking Americans typically do around the holidays, give the chef in your house a night off and treat them to a dinner and a show. Specifically, dinner at Lago in the Bellagio. Lago, by Julian Serrano, is seated on the backside of the Bellagio's fountains. So, if you time your dinner reservation correctly, they'll have an unobstructed view of the world-famous Fountains of Bellagio show. If you don't want to end the night there and want to continue the evening, the Bellagio is also home to Cirque Du Soleil's "aquatic masterpiece" "O."

Give someone the rush of a lifetime
For the car enthusiast or adrenaline junkie in your life, give them the chance to literally speed around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Which ever luxury car they day dream about, Dream Racing probably has it. From Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and everything in between, your guest can pick their poison and climb behind the wheel..

Still haven't found the right gift? You could just go with the Fremont-bought Las Vegas sign snowglobe.
