The High Noon Lectern Toastmasters Club meets at noon every Friday at Denny's, 3081 S. Maryland Parkway (798-3700).

The New Life Trail Blazers Toastmasters club meets at 5 p.m. the first and second Sunday of each month at New Life Christian Center, 1229 E. Carson Ave. (340-0375).

The Jackpot Speakers Toastmasters club meets at 1 p.m. the second and fourth Sunday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.

FOOD DRIVE

The National Association of Letter Carriers will conduct its 15th annual food drive Saturday. People can leave their nonperishable food items near their mailbox for pickup by their mail carrier. The food will be distributed to such local charities as Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, The Salvation Army, Lutheran Social Services and St. Jude's Ranch for Children, among others (385-2662)

IKENOBO IKEBANA SOCIETY

The Ikenobo Ikebana Society Nevada Chapter will have a Japanese flower-arranging workshop from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave. (496-3763).

SOUTHERN NEVADA HANDWEAVERS

The Southern Nevada Handweavers and Spinners Guild and Fiber Arts Guild will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday (642-3412).
