DREAM OF PARIS

If you want half a taste of something authentically French, check out the Eiffel Tower Experience at Paris Las Vegas, 3645 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

At 50 stories, the tower is a half-scale reproduction of the real Eiffel Tower in the real Paris. It boasts an observation deck that provides visitors with a view of the valley from 460 feet above the Strip.

During the elevator ride from the ground to the top, an elevator operator gives a brief history of the Paris landmark.

Weather permitting, the tower is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. General admission is $9; $7 for people 65 and older and children ages 6 to 12. Kids younger than 6 are admitted free. For more information, call 946-7000.

Strip Tips is a weekly feature by Sonya Padgett that highlights attractions and activities on the Las Vegas Strip.
