BEST FEATURE FORWARD

When you got it, they say you should flaunt it. That doesn't always translate to cup sizes or legs that go on for hours, either. Jada Pinkett Smith proves that "it" can be a number of different things.

At the premiere of "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl," which stars Willow Smith, Pinkett Smith's daughter, she puts all her best features into focus. All the while, she manages to hold onto her dignity. Reality TV stars can start taking notes right about now.

The most outstanding asset Pinkett Smith spotlights would have to be her shimmering shoulders. The compliments go to her strapless silk corset. Without dipping too low on the bust, this top exposes all the actress/singer's upper body goodness. Considering the lateral pulls and chest presses that undoubtedly went into attaining that tone, we understand wanting to parade it around like a best of show dog.

Aside from earning kudos for her cardio, Pinkett Smith also has a knack for selecting highly flattering colors. The royal purple shade she selected here somehow makes her complexion more buttery smooth than a Paula Dean recipe. Cinching the waist with an embellished belt gives a curve illusion to the star's normally narrow silhouette.

Reminding us there's even more to offer, she finishes things off with a skinny pant and holds it all up with a pair of platform sandals that negate her petite stature. An animal print envelope clutch seals the statement with a gold star.

Pinkett Smith stuns in this look that falls somewhere between casual and cocktail and owes most of it to her figure-flattering clothing choices. To master the same feat, we offer alternatives for each item she dons. Every one can be found locally, body not included.
