ElevenSpa Vegas opens at Town Square

The newest spa to open in Las Vegas not only claims to provide life-changing service, they get the process started as soon as you step foot in their doors.

"No one asks if you're checking in," says Nicole Oden, owner of ElevenSpa Vegas, which originated in Delray Beach, Fla. "The first words we say to you are, 'How can I change your life?' "

While the spa might not be able to expedite the divorce, fire the evil boss or get the bill collector off your back, they can make you forget these problems ever troubled you. That's the effect a spa tends to have when it's studded with grey-gloved butlers.

After spa-ing the world over, Oden picked up on a few things. She decided her next spa would stay completely true to the pampering concept and provide a Calgon experience on human growth hormones. Not a single concern goes unserved at ElevenSpa Vegas.

Oden wanted select chairs to stand 6 feet tall and boast white patent leather to resemble something plucked out of "Alice in Wonderland." But what about comfort? She sent them back to be wrapped in down. She wanted mobile pedicure stations, which would mean nixing the plumbing. Clients dip their feet in gorgeous glass woks instead of jet tubs. She wanted just the right tile for bathrooms and couples massage rooms so she had it imported from Italy; forget about the construction delays.

For the spagoer who can't bear another Enya song, a DJ booth hovers above the spa with plug-and-play ability so anyone can control the beats. If green tea and ice water never qualified to you as indulgent beverages, champagne is an arm reach away -- on butlers' trays.

"It's about doing what makes you feel happy," says Oden.

Oden might soon discover what it's like to want guests to leave. Bottomless champagne, complementary "after" makeup applications, welcome gifts and a lounge and relaxation room with artificial grass only tug visitors' robes to stay longer than planned. The curved wall with classic films like "Casablanca" constantly projected onto it guarantees an extra couple hours. But, the spa was designed with entertainment in mind.

The 20,000-square-foot space features three cosmetic bars that convert into full-service liquor bars. Oden already has three events booked to use the space.

"It's as much about what happens at night as what happens during the day," she says.
