Eye on You

These aren't the eyelets you used to find on your classic Sunday dresses. Fashion designers have taken the childhood staple and adorned them on every article of clothing imaginable, but updated them on more streamlined styles. Look for eyelets on tunics, dresses and even ballet flats. These styles look less Victorian and more fresh for spring. Try a color other than white for an updated look, or pair an eyelet-adorned top with flats and skinny jeans. Just don't go too bold with your jewelry and pick one eyelet-adorned piece instead of going head to toe in the look. And if eyelets seem a bit too much for you, try just wearing a top with them adorning the edges or on the trim.
