• On the Runway: Kenneth Cole will be showing its latest fashions on the runway at Fashion Show mall through Sunday. Fashion shows run every hour on the hour from noon to 6 p.m.
• In Person: Saturday proves to be a busy day at Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show mall. Be & D designer Be Inthavong will make a personal appearance in designer handbags. Also on Saturday, the Dominique Cohen collection will be on display in designer jewelry. On Wednesday, H. Stern will have its latest collection on display in the Precious Jewels Salon. On Thursday, see the latest styles from Akris Couture during a trunk show.
• Donate for Prom: Jessica McClintock at Fashion Show mall is accepting gently used dresses through March 29 for Las Vegas Prom Closet, a non-profit organization that provides complimentary dresses and accessories for local teens who would otherwise not be able to purchase new clothing for prom. In exchange for donating a gently used dress, Jessica McClintock is offering a 15 percent discount on any new dress purchase.
• Discount Shopping: The Las Vegas Premium Outlets recently opened five new stores. Burberry, Diesel, Miss Sixty/Energie, J.Crew and Etro are now open at the expanded center. More stores plan to open this month.
• New Beauty: Beauty giant Ulta recently opened a new location at Arroyo Market Square, 7265 Arroyo Crossing Pkwy. The store carries prestige lines such as Murad, NeoStrata and Peter Thomas Roth in addition to independent lines such as Urban Decay and Too Faced Cosmetics.
• Spring Launches: On Thursday, Saks Fifth Avenue at Fashion Show mall will show its Lafayette Collection. Models will wear outfits from the collection during informal modeling. Magaschoni will also show its spring collection in Salon Z with informal modeling. Saks also kicks off its Spring 2008 Want It Launch storewide on Thursday.
• Get Fit: On March 14, receive a complimentary fitting in a Wacoal, DKNY Underwear or Donna Karan Intimates bra from a Wacoal fit specialist at Dillard's at Fashion Show mall. Visitors can sign up to receive a monthly e-mail reminder to do a self-breast exam. Wacoal will donate $2 to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer research and outreach programs for every woman who participates, along with an additional $2 donation for every Wacoal, DKNY Underwear or Donna Karan Intimates bra purchased at the event.
