On the Runway: See the latest fashions from Sigrid Olsen today through Sunday in the Great Hall at Fashion Show mall. Runway shows take place every hour from noon to 6 p.m.

 

Sunny Outlook: Solstice Sunglass Boutique, the upscale luxury sunwear specialty chain, will open its first location in Las Vegas on May 25 in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort. This new 1,049-square-foot boutique features an innovative and upscale European store design, a "hands-on" retailing approach and chic store ambience. Solstice specializes in upscale, high-end designer fashion sunglasses brands, yet also offers more moderately priced bridge collections and active sport sunwear lines. Prices start at $75 and can range up to $500 or more, depending upon the brand and style.

 

Fragrance Event: Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show mall is holding a "Scent Event" through Saturday. Shoppers who make a fragrance purchase of $85 or more receive a cosmetic bag with fragrance samples inside.

Fashionista favorites Coach and CK will debut their spring and summer eyewear collections. Vicky Rivera, a Coach and CK style expert, will be on hand to answer questions, along with Dr. Spencer Quinton. Opticians Kandi Avila, James Snow and Annricka McGuinness, specialists in fitting people with the frames that work best with their face shape, will offer consultations throughout the day.

 

Eyewear Trunk Show: Optical Effects Vision Center, 9895 S. Maryland Pkwy. at Silverado Ranch, is hosting a trunk show Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. The complete Prada Eyewear collection will be featured at the show. Big Cut: Sport Clips opened its 400th store May 7 at 7225 S. Durango Dr., Suite 104. NASCAR driver Mike Wallace received a haircut from Ivan Zoot, a stylist who has broken three Guinness World Records for haircutting.

 

Rub out the Pain: Massage Envy opened two new clinics this week. The Centennial Hills clinic, at 7140 N. Durango Dr., Suite 140, in the Montecito Marketplace, features 3,500 square feet with 15 therapy rooms and 18 certified massage therapists, who will offer a range of modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal massage and reflexology. The Rock Springs facility is located at 7175 W. Lake Mead Blvd., #174, in the Rock Springs Plaza. Massage Envy is a national franchise that offers massages through its monthly membership plan. For monthly dues investment of $59, members receive a monthly massage with unlimited additional massages in the same month for $39 per one-hour session.
