Shop for a Cause: Kiehl's Since 1851 at the Forum Shops at Caesars is holidng a World AIDS Day shopping benefit for YouthAIDS on Dec. 1. Kiehl's will donate 20 percent of all net sales from its freestanding stores to YouthAIDS. All customers who spend $100 will receive a limited edition World AIDS Day T-shirt.

 

Designer Overstock: Fashion Elements, an exclusive designer shopping experience showcasing the hottest new and established designers, is bringing the event to Las Vegas on Dec. 2 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Palms in the Fantasy Tower, Jazz Rooms. Entry costs $5. The one-day only event features current overstock from more than 30 designers at discounts of up to 60 percent off retail prices. The boutique-like shopping extravaganza will also include cocktails and music. Art in Motion: Now through Jan. 15, fashion photographer Jerry Metellus' art exhibit, "Moshion," will be on display in the Grotto room at the Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. The photo exhibition features dancers from the Nevada Ballet Theatre captured mid-air in the latest fashion trends.

 

Tease, Tease, Tease: You already know that Barneys New York will be anchoring the new Shoppes at The Palazzo at the Venetian, set to open in early 2008. Aside from the 85,000-square-foot flagship Barneys New York, the new mall will feature more than 60 luxury boutiques, of which 20 are luxury brands that will debut standalone stores in Las Vegas.
