ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Summer means that it's time to pack the bags and head to the beach...or the city...or the country. Wherever your travels take you, you'll always want to have extra clothes with you to accommodate any situation you might encounter, whether it's a night at a club in New York, an afternoon frolicking on the beach of St. Tropez or a morning walking through a field of wildflowers in Tuscany.

With the help of stylist Nancy Rosu, we've put together examples of different clothing combinations you may want to consider when packing. For the city, Rosu likes to keep her clothing basic black, while the beach calls for silvers and whites. In the country, Rosu leans toward browns combined with creams and pops of red. In each case, a change of shoes can turn a dress you wore on the plane into an outfit you'd wear to a swanky dinner.

Here's a look at three ways to pack, along with some tips on packing that will keep your clothes looking fresh on the road.
