Oscar Takes a Turn

Tell the women of Las Vegas that a fashion luncheon with Oscar de la Renta clothes is sold out and you create a frenzy for tickets. Spago set the scene for this benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. De la Renta's fall collection set the tone with its casual looks, furs and cocktail attire. Models donning his clothes entered the room down a staircase and then circulated among the guests to give them a chance to touch the clothing. Afterward, everything from the show was available in a boutique set up especially to cater to the women who attended the event.
