Paris, Perfected

We would ordinarily never advise readers to look to Paris Hilton as a model for style. Her down-to-there extensions, up-to-here hemlines and four-legged accessories don't sit well with us. We did take note, however, of a very polished 180 on the day Hilton discovered she'd be donning the same neon orange uniform for 45 days straight (since decreased to 23 days).

We love the effect a gavel-wielding judge can have on the wardrobe choices of the worst-dressed celebs. For the heiress here, it meant a strong dose of masculinity in her otherwise siren closet. Notice the amount of skin -- or more accurately, the lack of skin -- showing. Someone in Hilton's camp understands that to be taken seriously you must dress the part, which she has pulled off.

She managed to throw in a dash of girly with her thick headband and chain handle handbag, but not in excess as she normally would. The two pieces stay in the background and allow the foreground items to take charge the way her stylist surely intended.

The business suit, crisp white shirt, exposed cuffs, precise layering and Christian Louboutin (look closely, you can see the red sole) platforms team up to pull off a very well-executed look of professionalism. What exactly her profession is, she probably doesn't even know but that's beside the point. Hilton proved she knows how to clean up.
