Ethan Allen to teach session on dressing a bed in style

Dress your Bed in Style is the topic of a free seminar to be presented March 24 by the design team at Ethan Allen.

Part of the company's series of style workshops, the session is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in the Ethan Allen showroom on the first floor of Building C in the Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center, 455 S. Grand Central Parkway.

The morning festivities also will include refreshments, gift bags and a door prize drawing.

There is no cost to attend. However, seating is limited and reservations are required.

Arrangers' Guild sets annual spring flower show

If it's spring, you know there has to be a flower show around the corner. The Flower Arrangers' Guild of Nevada Garden Clubs will present its annual spring show on Saturday and Sunday, March 27 and 28, at the Nevada Garden Club Center in Lorenzi Park, 3333 W. Washington Ave., at the corner of Twin Lakes Drive.

The event is free of charge and open to the public from noon to 4 p.m. both days.

The theme, "Marching to the Tune of the Great Composers," will be reflected in both design and horticulture classes being offered that day.

Plant and garden related items will be for sale on the patio, and there also will be a raffle.
