Classic Home donates wares to Opportunity Village

Classic Home, which specializes in elegant rustic furnishings, recently donated an assortment of upholstered items and linens to Opportunity Village.

The donation included upholstered ottomans, table linens such as place mats and tablecloths, kitchen linens and bedding, including quilts, duvet covers and decorative pillows.

Carol Seibel, manager of the company's showroom in the Las Vegas Design Center, said the nonprofit was selected because of the work it does with people with intellectual disabilities.

"I know they do a great job and will make good use of our donation," she said.

Additionally, the company regularly donates items such as fabric swatches, which would otherwise be thrown away, so that clients of Opportunity Village can use them for crafts to sell and help raise funds.

The Los Angeles-based manufacturer is known for its furnishings, many of which are made of reclaimed woods, rugs and bedding. It also uses eco-friendly processes to manufacture its varied products.

The company's one-of-a-kind collection is featured in its local showroom at the Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center.
