Garden clubs set spring flower show

"Dancing Into Spring" is the theme of the annual spring flower show sponsored by Nevada Garden Clubs Inc. and the Las Vegas Flower Arrangers' Guild.

The two-day event will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Nevada Garden Club Center, 3333 W. Washington Ave. at Twin Lakes Drive in Lorenzi Park. Show hours are 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.

A special feature will be an exhibit by the Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club that will include a demonstration of the art of lei making and Hawaiian dance performances. Completed leis will be on display throughout the weekend; the dance performances are scheduled between 1-3 p.m. Saturday.

Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
