Julien, Adams create warm, steel bath suite

Julien Home Refinements, a leader in innovative stainless steel products, has teamed up with designer Troy Adams to create a bathroom suite that incorporates elements of nature and contemporary, modular design.

The suite, which was showcased at the recent Kitchen & Bath Industry Show held in Las Vegas, includes a bath console offered in free-standing, single- or double-basin sizes, all of which features a distinctive hand-crafted lav sink. The double-basin version offers a drain concealed by a sliding countertop shelf. All offer various CaesarStone countertop options.

A seamless blend of Asian style and modern stainless steel can be found in the Tansu chest, stepped-up drawers that can stack to the left or right.

The suite's soaking tub was inspired by the Ofuro tubs of Japan and offers a deep-set design and full-body immersion.

Completing the set is a BenchToilet, which provides a decorative solution to a typically unattractive fixture. The award-winning piece has a sliding wood panel that conceals the toilet.

Adams has been recognized for his FusionDesign signature touch, a style that incorporates an Asian-based sensitivity to nature, European-inspired sophistication and American focus on functionality. He was selected to create the suite for Julien because of his inventive style and ability to cater to the overall experience of an applied design.

"Working hand-in-hand with a manufacturer such as Julien has been a rewarding experience. Our vision and goals have been aligned from the start: to eschew and expand the traditional concept of bathroom design to spa design by introducing stainless steel in a warm, inviting, more feminine application." Adams said.

The stainless steel in the collection is available in a brushed or pewter finish. Wood accent choices include ebony, teak sabbiata, wenge crown and zebra wood, and CaesarStone color choices are Tequila Sunrise, Coffee Bean, Lagos Blue and Mocha.
