OfficeMax debuts ‘Sharper,’ chic look

OfficeMax recently debuted an exclusive line of stylish Sharper Image Office furniture.

The Stockton collection is the first line of new products premiering under the Sharper Image Office brand. It is available at OfficeMax's more than 900 locations nationwide as well as on its Web site.

The eight-piece collection creates a sleek and stylish workstation, featuring metal-frame construction enhanced by a silver satin finish and espresso-finished curved wooden legs -- perfect for home office workers and small businesspeople seeking an invigorating office environment that's affordable without sacrificing their personal sense of style.

"OfficeMax believes that today's small business and home office workers needn't accept a cluttered, boring office environment; rather, they should love what their office space says about them," says Ryan Vero, executive vice president of merchandising at OfficeMax. "Our business customers want office furniture that reflects their unique personality and allows for an office space that shows contemporary style. This new Sharper Image Office furniture, exclusive to OfficeMax, has innovative, sleek design and quality construction."

Pieces within the collection include a flow chair upholstered in roasted chestnut leather with pneumatic seat-height adjustment ($279.99); bookcase with four fixed, open glass shelves ($129.99); computer desk with a pullout keyboard tray done in tempered glass and chrome accents ($149.99); main desk with an add-on shelf ($139.99) and storage cart with a chrome/mesh shelf, and two drawers ($59.99).

To help customers design a virtual office that fits their personality, OfficeMax has also launched an interactive Web site, www.officemax.com/dreamoffice. Once the virtual dream office is complete, consumers can print off a customized shopping list of items and visit the nearest location to purchase the furniture that will achieve their design.
