Robb & Stucky Interiors, in partnership with local interior designer Peggy Scinta, decorated "The Retreat" where country music celebrities gathered during the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards held Sunday at MGM Grand.
Doug Correll, general manager of the store in Town Square Las Vegas, said they worked with Scinta to create the overall concept and provided two Tibbie sofas, a Coco Twig cocktail table, two chocolate leather occasional chairs with the tusk arms, Coco Twig nesting tables with chrome legs, a Serenghetti chair and ottoman, and a drum side table. The color scheme was peacock blue and chocolate brown, which were represented in taffeta and damask along with coordinating fabrics for throw pillows.
"This was such an exciting event for Las Vegas and a wonderful opportunity for us to provide a beautiful eco-chic room full of natural textures, contemporary furnishings paired with the luxurious taffeta and damask fabrics in the rich color palette and an overall special space for the celebrities to gather," Correll said.
Completing the look were floral arrangements by English Garden Floral of Las Vegas.
Scinta moved her design company to Las Vegas in 2006 after working in New York for 10 years.
Founded in 1915 in Fort Myers, Fla., Robb & Stucky opened its first Las Vegas location in late 2007.
