Taking deck care to the extreme

Talk about getting up close and personal.

Thanks to Thompson's Water Seal and Niagara Falls State Park, admirers of decking and history will have the chance to win a trip for four to America's oldest state park.

Deck enthusiasts? That's right. Because the Thompson's Water Seal brand is dedicated to protecting America's decks and because the company is a partner in Niagara Falls State Park, it helped design the trip-of-a-lifetime promotion, the Thompson's Water Seal Niagara Falls Sweepstakes.

A must-see attraction is the spectacular Cave of the Winds decks, which are a series of connected decks at the base of Niagara Falls, offering stunning views of the Niagara Gorge. The top deck, appropriately named the Hurricane Deck, allows visitors to stand just 15 feet from the base of Niagara Falls and experience, first-hand, the power and majesty of this amazing natural wonder. The decks at Niagara Falls host approximately 360,000 visitors annually between May and September.

The sweepstakes prize package includes airfare for four people, hotel accommodations for four nights, a rental car and $1,000 in spending money, allowing the winner to experience the many historic and breathtaking attractions in and around Niagara Falls.

The sweepstakes can be entered at the Thompson's Water Seal Web site, www.thompsonswaterseal.com, through Sept. 30. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. For more information, log on to the Thompson's site for rules.
