Around the Bend Friends: This group of people, 50 years and over, interested in hiking and related social activities will meet at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot in front of Best Buy, at Charleston Boulevard and I-215 in Summerlin, for a moderate three-hour hike at Red Rock (642-2285).

Red Rock Audubon Society: Meet at the Wetland Park Nature Preserve Saturday at 7 a.m. for a birding field trip, with lots of walking, to see the bird survey area of the Las Vegas Wash (822-3370).

The Las Vegas High Rollers and Strollers: Members of the American Volkssport Association will have an easy group walk at 7 a.m. Saturday. The walk is suitable for baby strollers and wheelchairs.
