Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Monday at the Rock: A moderate three- to four-mile hike Monday around Fossil Ridge (515-5367).

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, New Moon: Meet at the tour gate Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. for a two-hour hike with some bouldering in the wash at Sandstone Canyon. Arrive 15 minutes early, as the park gates close when the hike starts. No dogs or children under 12 years old allowed (875-4141).

Red Rock Canyon, Mummy Springs Loop: Friday, a strenuous six-mile hike above Deer Creek, then descending on the North Loop trail (515-5367).

The Las Vegas High Rollers and Strollers: Members of the American Volkssport Association will have an easy to moderate group walk at Peccole Ranch on Saturday at 7 a.m. The walk is suitable for baby strollers and wheelchairs.
